Hollie Smith Keen For Future Collaborations

It seems like Europe is the place to be at the moment for New Zealand musicians - with Concord Dawn based in Vienna, and Shapeshifter and Ladi6 spending their time in Berlin.
Hollie Smith is also over in the German capital at the moment, and although she's currently "on holiday," she's been very busy in the last few months.
The accomplished singer recently took just six weeks to write and record her new album in collaboration with Mara TK from Electric Wire Hustle.
The new album, which also features a number of guests on production duties alongside Hollie Smith and TK, is fittingly titled Band of Brothers Volume 1.
Speaking to bFM this week, Smith said she "just wanted to get back into doing collaborations."
Having firmly established herself as a solo artist, she said she now feels the need to get back into "being inspired with other people, genres and sounds."
Working with other people has allowed her to "go on a bit of a tangent from what essentially is the kind of Hollie Smith brand that's been established."
The new album is out this week in Aotearoa, but Smith says she is already eager to do more collaborative work.
There are no definite plans as of yet, but she anticipates something turning up...
"I'm looking forward to doing more stuff. There's nothing planned necessarily with any specific person or ideas but I think it will fall into place much like this collaboration with Mara TK did."
"I'll definitely do more."
