Johnny Barker
Johnny Barker is a professional musician and well known to NZ TV audiences as the Shortland St serial killer. As well as a being a solo artist, he is also the singer and songwriter in the band nephew.
Johnny's solo music gives voice to the more intimate recordings that are not suited to the his band. Johnny plays acoustic melodies, with the tone ranging from beautiful melancholy to heartfelt longing, while never losing its pop sensibilities.
Like his music Johnny is honest and unforced.
